On New Year's Day, 1959, five male members of a hiking club died in a blizzard while attempting a crossing of Jock's Road, an ancient mountain route between Braemar and Glen Doll. With the author's knowledge of the setting, and his gift for conveying atmosphere, he conjures up in verse an eerie reanactment of the Jock's Road tragedy. A very scarce title.
